Alright! Here it is, a mash-up comic nobody asked for between fandoms that have almost nothing to do with each other!
All fourteen pages of Part One of ‘National Assets’ can be found on my website here:
NATIONAL ASSETS- PART ONE of a TCR/TDS/Avengers Crossover Comic
And it’s a sequel to THIS SIX PAGE COMIC I did a couple months back.
Notes: For those not familiar with Marvel comics, below are wiki’s for certain introduced individuals. Browse these AFTER you’ve read the comic, or a specific part will be spoiled.
And because I’m doing this other comic book related thing that I don’t want to talk about yet until I’ve actually started on it, the second part to this comic will come out when I can. Scheduling! It’s a thing!
I think that’s about it. Enjoy!
Can I get a HELL YEAH for how hard both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are rocking tonight? Are they on fire tonight or what?! Between Jon’s showcase of the plight of returning veterans looking for work and Stephen offering Trump a million dollars to let him teabag him… just…

I could listen to Chris Rock and Jon Stewart talk about the state of comedy today for forever.
So I finally got off my ass and posted some of my art onto Redbubble as prints, t-shirts and stickers, including a new Phil Coulson design. My goal is to add something new every month, so give it a little love please.
The printed copies of Fake News Rumble arrived a couple days ago. I’ve got to say, Ka-Blam does a hell of a printing job. Colors look great, their template was easy to follow and both copies arrived ahead of schedule. Couldn’t be happier with them. Here’s a couple shots of how it turned out, how thick a 500 page comic is and there’s even a cat picture at the end!
So I’ve got one copy for the The Daily Show studio and one for the The Colbert Report studio. I managed to get tickets to TCR on the 26th (My birthday! yay!) so I’ll be heading up there to hand that one off. Then later this year I’ll hit TDS hopefully and hand off the other copy.
Six of Eight TCR/TDS Avengers Comics: Phil Coulson, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
(Because he’s not dead, you guys. He’s NOT. >_<)
Tomorrow’s Guest: Bruce Banner
Four of Eight TCR/TDS Avengers Comics: Hawkeye & Black Widow (kinda, sorta)
Tomorrow’s Guest: Tony Stark
Two of Eight TCR/TDS Avengers Comics: Nick Fury
Tomorrow’s Guest: Captain America
I’ve got eight little TDS/TCR/Avengers mini comics lined up. I’ll be posting one each day starting tomorrow. These fandoms are colliding whether they want to or not.
7/2/12: Thor
7/3/12: Nick Fury
7/4/12: Captain America
7/5/12: Hawkeye & Black Widow (kinda, sorta)
7/6/12: Tony Stark
7/7/12: Phil Coulson, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
7/8/12: Bruce Banner
7/9/12: Loki
Update time! Here’s the first of three epilogue chapters for ‘Fake News Rumble’. This one focuses on John Oliver, takes place a few months after the end of the comic and guest stars another familiar character. It’s also pretty heavy into the Doctor Who mythology, so before the chapter on the ‘Comics’ page of my site, I’ve included a few links to help fill in any gaps.
Anyhoo, the whole thing’s up my site, along with the rest of the series for anyone who missed out the first time around. Enjoy!
A small tag for the TCR/Avengers ‘Lost and Found’ comic I did last week. I really can’t get over how awesome it’d be if these two characters ever met :)
Here’s a couple of chibi versions of some of the characters from FNR. I created these for the printed version of Fake News Rumble, which I’m STILL in the middle of editing because I am the reigning high duchess of typos apparently >_<. I’ll post some more later.
So for those not familiar with my work since I’m all new to Tumblr and junk, I do a webcomic called ‘Fake News Rumble’. It’s an unofficial webcomic devoted to ‘The Daily Show’, ‘The Colbert Report’ and a bunch of other real news/ fake news shows. And there’s plot. And monsters. And magic powers. And more plot.
The whole thing is up on my site, so take a looky. My plan is make printed copies of the whole thing, head up to NYC and handed off copies to TDS and TCR studios sometime this summer, so I’ll be posting about how that’s going here. But for now, below is the cover design for the comic.
