So… Clark Gregg tweeted out this idea a day ago.

I regret nothing.
EDIT: And since people asked, here’s a link to a shirt version too:
“Don’t EVER tell me there’s no way!”

Well, it’s true.

Avengers Day Off #3
Strip Poker Night on the Helicarrier. In my mind, it was Clint’s idea to play poker thinking he could take them nice and easy. It’s… not going the way he planned.

“A” is for Avengers
Not going to lie, my favorite part of drawing this pic was Coulson. Big ol’ surprise there.

Alright! Here it is, a mash-up comic nobody asked for between fandoms that have almost nothing to do with each other!
All fourteen pages of Part One of ‘National Assets’ can be found on my website here:
NATIONAL ASSETS- PART ONE of a TCR/TDS/Avengers Crossover Comic
And it’s a sequel to THIS SIX PAGE COMIC I did a couple months back.
Notes: For those not familiar with Marvel comics, below are wiki’s for certain introduced individuals. Browse these AFTER you’ve read the comic, or a specific part will be spoiled.
And because I’m doing this other comic book related thing that I don’t want to talk about yet until I’ve actually started on it, the second part to this comic will come out when I can. Scheduling! It’s a thing!
I think that’s about it. Enjoy!

So while I was shut in for a couple days thanks to Hurricane Sandy… well… this happened.
Clicky the pic for the High Res version.
Agents of SHIELD, samurai style. Yes, I’m doing a whole series of these.
Alright, here’s my overly extensive write up of the NYCC Marvel TV panel, complete with rough drawings of what the video looked like. If you want to know what really happened, the exact order things went down in, and how certain quotes should have been taken, read on. But be warned, get some cocoa and sit somewhere comfy, because as usual, I wrote a thesis.
……
I’m starting to get a wee bit annoyed at all the articles about the Whedon/Feige video at Marvel TV panel at NYCC that 1) aren’t mentioning the context of Whedon’s comments and an extra comment he added in because of a thing that happened, 2) aren’t mentioning the gag at the very end of the video and 3) aren’t mentioning Whedon’s line from the very beginning of the video. Also, some articles are flat out misquoting the whole thing. Digital Spy, I’m looking square at you.
So… I’m kind of on the verge of storyboarding out the video so everyone can see a very rough idea of how the video looked and how the build up to it actually went down, because it would sure as hell be more accurate than anything I’ve read so far.
Would anyone be interested? Or is the video online somewhere I don’t know about? Because it’s a real shame if no one gets to see it.
